Arist Bio: Ashley began painting at a very early age, beginning art lessons at a fine art school at the age of nine. There, she was classically trained in oils, acrylic, watercolor and charcoal for nine years. Wanting to pursue her art in college, she attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art and Design. Fortunate enough to study abroad her third year of college, Ashley studied live painting at L'Accedemia di Belle Arti, in Florence, Italy, an art academy originally founded by Michelangelo in the 1500s. As an experienced artist, Ashley is able to capture the essence of her clients' inspirations, allowing for each mural to be unique and specific to each client's vision. Her custom hand painted murals include landscapes, themed murals, trompe l'oeil, decorative painting, seascapes, and beaches, etc, for private homes and businesses. She also does design work on furniture, floors, and other surfaces. Ashley currently lives in Palos Verdes, California, and works as a sign artist for Trader Joe's and as a private art instructor.

Artist Residency Program at Chico Basin Ranch



Hello All,

It's been some time. I have been spending the last 4 months on an 87,000-acre working cattle ranch in Colorado Springs, CO, starting up an artist residency program. It's been a beautiful experience living with the land and waking up when the sun rises. The residency program is open to emerging and professional artists looking to expand their portfolios in a unique environment.
